Director -Tyler Wooten
Tyler Wooten is a Junior Mechanical Engineering major from Coupland, Texas! Tyler is also minoring in Business and wants to go into the design field for engineering. Tyler has held three prior internships, with Arlectron, Airbus Defense and Space and Technip FMC. Tyler is excited to continue growing AMP during and after school.
Director of Operations- Russell Geyer
Russell is a Junior Mechanical Engineering major from Clear Lake City, Texas! Russell has a dream of becoming an astronaut and has a passion for space. Russell has held two prior internships with Boeing. Russell is very involved on campus and also serves as a Director for a Freshmen Leadership Organization as well as a part of Fish Camp and BUILD. Russell is excited to build a team of people to be involved with AMP and to see where it takes him.
Director of Communications- Ashlyn Pedersen
Ashlyn is a Junior Telecommunications Media-Studies major from League City, Texas! Ashlyn has held two prior internships, with Arlectron and Studio Communications and has a passion for Public Relations. Ashlyn also is pursuing a minor in Business and a certificate in Strategic Planning. After graduation she wants to work in corporate Public Relations. Ashlyn is also very involved on campus, serving as the Panhellenic President. Ashlyn is very excited to see what impact AMP can have and wants to get more people involved!
Luis is a Freshmen Mechanical Engineering major from El Paso, Texas! Luis is excited to be involved and says “A main goal I have for myself is to find ways to combine creativity and engineering in a career that will benefit those around me. I continually look for new obstacles and challenges that will help me do the best work possible, and I am confident that all the experience and skills I pick up will make me able to make a positive impact in life after college.”
Jesus goes by Gerardo and is a Junior Electrical Engineering major from Allen, Texas! Gerardo is a very involved student at Texas A&M, having involvement in the Ultimate Frisbee team, Aggie Club of Engineers and Fish Camp. Gerardo says “After graduation I hope to work in software design in the music industry. My lifelong goal is to own a snow cone stand once I retire.”
Ahmad is a Sophomore Mechanical Engineering major from Indonesia! Ahmad is very excited to be a part of AMP, he says “I have always enjoyed designing, from creating graphic posters for club events to CAD modelling. I also love robotics because I get to make designs for the robot and actually have physical parts made and used based on my designs. Later on, I hope to work where I can use design and problem solving abilities to help people. Right now, I am very excited to be able to use my design skills and experience to aid college students through AMP. Thanks and Gig’em!”
John is a Freshman Mechanical Engineering major from Houston, Texas! John says “Throughout my time in college, I have worked with Engineers without Boarders, the SAE Aero Design team, and most recently AMP! I’m excited to be a part of something that truly benefits others and provides accessibility to those in need.”
Bryce is a Junior Mechanical Engineering major from Van Alstyne, Texas! Bryce is a coffee enthusiast, investing a lot of his time in finding the perfect brew! Bryce is also involved in Pine Cove camps and has a passion for helping those around him. Bryce is very excited to be involved in AMP and looks forward to developing his maps.
